⬤ التحية (Greeting) تعني الترحيب بشخص ما بكلمات معينة أو فعل معين، عند مقابلة أشخاص، هناك عدد من التحيات التي يمكنك استخدامها باللغة الإنجليزية، تعتمد هذه على ما إذا كنت ستصل إلى مكان ما، أو تغادر، أو تقابل أشخاصًا تعرفهم بالفعل، أو تقابل شخصًا ما لأول مرة؛ إعتمادًا على الموقف، هناك طرق رسمية وأخرى غير رسمية لتحية بعضنا البعض.
⬤ في هذا الدرس، ستتعلم كيفية إلقاء التحية (Greeting) - المشاركة في المحادثة (engage in conversation)، أخذ الأدوار (take turns)، ستتعلم التحيات المختلفة الرسمية منها والغير الرسمية باللغة الإنجليزية لمواقف مختلفة، و كذلك الطرق المختلفة التي يستقبل بها الناس بعضهم البعض حتى تتمكن من فهم الآخرين عندما يلقون التحية.
مقابلة الناس (Meeting People)
▣ عند الوصول إلى وجهتك أو مقابلة أشخاص خلال اليوم، استخدم العبارات التالية:
✿ Formal
￭ Hello (مرحبًا)
￭ Good morning/afternoon/evening. (صباح الخير/ مساء الخير)
￭ How are you (doing)? (كيف حالك؟)
￭ How's it going? (كيف هي الأحوال؟)
￭ (It's) nice/good/great to see you. (جميل / جيد / رائع أن أراك)
￭ It's good to see you again. (جيد أن أراك مجددا)
￭ How is your day (going)? (كيف هو يومك؟)
✿ Informal
￭ Hi (أهلاً)
￭ Hey (مرحبًا)
￭ How's it going? (كيف الحال؟)
￭ How is everything/life? (كيف هو كل شيء / الحياة؟)
￭ How are things? (كيف تسير الامور؟)
￭ What's up/new? (ما الجديد؟)
￭ Sup? (ما الجديد؟)
￭ What's going on? (ما الذي يحدث؟)
￭ How have you been? (كيف حالك؟)
￭ Long-time no see. (لم أرك منذ وقت طويل)
￭ It's been a while. (لقد مرت فترة)
(Leaving People) مغادرة الناس
▣ عند المغادرة ، هناك أيضًا مجموعة متنوعة من الطرق التي يمكنك من خلالها أن تكون مهذبًا أو ودودًا:
✿ Formal
￭ Goodbye. (مع السلامة)
￭ Bye. (وداعا)
￭ Farewell. (وداعا)
￭ It was nice to meet you. (سرني لقاؤك)
￭ It was nice meeting you. (سررت بلقائك)
￭ Goodnight. (تصبح على خير)
￭ Have a good night. (أتمنى لك ليلة سعيدة)

￭ See you. (أرك لاحقًا)
￭ See you soon/next time/later/tomorrow. (نراكم قريبا / في المرة القادمة / لاحقا / غدا)
￭ Talk to you later. (أتحدث إليكم في وقت لاحق)
￭ I have to go now. (يجب أن أذهب الآن)
￭ I have to get going. (لا بد لي من الذهاب.)
￭ (It was) good to see you. (سررت برؤيتك)
￭ Take care (of yourself). (إعتنِ بنفسك)
￭ Peace. / Peace out. (إذهب بسلام)
￭ Catch you later. (أراك لاحقا)

✿ Victoria ran across James in the high school hallway.
Victoria: Hello James, how are you?
James: Vicky! nice to see you, I’m fine and you?
Victoria: Oh! Couldn’t be better! My grades are excellent, and my father has just bought me a car.
James: I’m glad to hear that, are you a new student in Overlake School?
Victoria: Yes, I am in the 12th grade in high school this year. I came with my brother Alex, he studies here too.
James: Where is your brother now? I can’t see him.
Victoria: He has Math class this morning, you can meet him after school.
James: Oh, great! I can’t wait to say hello to him.
Victoria: My brother will be very pleased to see you too.
James: It was nice to see you. But huh! I have Social Studies class right now and I must hurry up.
Victoria: Oh! I have English class at 8 o’clock, I’m late. Catch you later!
James: See you after school, Goodbye!
