✿If you want to introduce someone to someone else, use This is… . To introduce a group of people, use These are... .

◆ These are my children, Camelia, Sami and Yasmine.
◆ These are my parents.
✅ Here are expressions to introduce others:
■ Who’s your friend?

✿When you are introduced to someone, you can just say Hello, or in a slightly more formal situation, say Pleased to meet you.

Sam: darling, this is Omar, we played on the same basketball team in high school.
